Frequently Asked Questions

  • If I can't attend a monthly session, what can I do? Fellows are allowed to miss one monthly session with making up that material. If any of the dates for the monthly sessions does not work for the majority of the group, we will select an alternative date.

  • If there is a week that I cannot volunteer, can I make up that time? Yes. We understand that everyone has busy schedules and will work with Fellows to create flexible volunteer schedule. However, if a Fellow is consistently unavailable or cancelling on volunteer commitments, we will have to evaluate that Fellow continuing in the program.

  • What happens at the monthly session? Dinner will be served followed by a guided discussion on Jewish involvement in volunteering and acts of kindness, as well as various guest speakers who are influential volunteers in the Jewish community.
