Adam Neuman, Chief of Staff and Special Advisor to the President, Baltimore Ravens

Neuman leverages his extensive experience and education in sports, law, and public administration to support the strategic vision and operations of one of the most successful franchises in the National Football League (NFL). He joined the Ravens in 2023, after serving for four years as the Chief of Staff, Strategy and Operations & Deputy General Counsel at the Big Ten Conference (B1G). He is passionate about advancing the values and mission of sports, academics, and social responsibility, and is honored to be part of the Ravens organization that exemplifies excellence, integrity, and innovation. Neuman is a proud Jew born and raised in Baltimore.

Neuman serves as strategic counsel and manages all operational, financial, and legal activities for the President of the Baltimore Ravens. He helps lead the M&T Bank Stadium renovations including the finalization of and building plans of $600 Million from the Maryland Stadium Authority along with leading efforts in ticket modeling, practice facility lease negotiations, cash flow projections, corporate sales and suites, ownership presentations, territory comparisons and bridge building between the business and football operations. Neuman is also one of the Ravens’ liaison to Governor Wes Moore (Maryland), Mayor Brandon Scott (Baltimore), and the NFL Commissioner’s Office. He also serves as a member of The White House x NFL sports leaders combating antisemitism in conjunction with Robert Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS). In March of 2024, Governor Wes Moore and Senate Executive Committee appointed Neuman to the Maryland Port Commission (MPC) which establishes polices directed toward improving the competitive position of the Port of Baltimore within the international maritime industry.

In his previous role at B1G, he was instrumental in securing the historic additions of USC and UCLA and negotiating the record-breaking $8 Billion media rights deal with FOX, CBS and NBC. He was also recognized in The Athletics' inaugural College Sports 40 Under 40 list, featuring the top young coaches, players, execs, and influencers in the industry. “From the first day that I met Adam, it was clear that he had a special gift,” Big Ten Commissioner (now President & CEO, Chicago Bears) Kevin Warren told The Athletic. “His work ethic is incredible. He’s very, very mentally tough. He’s smart. He can handle a wide range of issues to deal with. His legal background has been incredible."

His previous legal experience was with Simpson Thacher and Bartlett LLP as a corporate associate in their capital markets division. Prior, Neuman served as the lead speechwriter for the president of Yeshiva University supporting President Richard Joel in wide-ranging strategic and operational needs.

​

Neuman is a graduate of Yeshiva University (BA), University of Pennsylvania Law School (JD), and University of Pennsylvania’s Fels School of Government (MPA). Neuman serves as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia University, teaching a master’s level course focusing on college athletics. Neuman also serves on the Board of Advisors at Israel Baseball Americas.
