For Arielle Datnoff, community has always been at the heart of her Jewish journey. Born and raised in Pikesville, she grew up in a Conservative Jewish household where the rhythm of the year was shaped by Jewish traditions and holidays.
She first discovered Etz Chaim through a Jewish Trivia Night she found on Instagram—and quickly found herself drawn into the community. What began as a fun evening with peers soon became a regular part of her Jewish journey. Today, Arielle brings her sisters to events and participates in the Podcast Fellowship Program, which she describes as providing "structure, accountability, and so much support in my Jewish learning."
For Arielle, Etz Chaim has created space to grow Jewishly and socially beyond college. From celebrating Shabbat together at home to forming friendships through Cocktails & Conversations and Happy Hour Mix & Mingle, she treasures the sense of connection each program brings.
"Etz Chaim puts us on the same page in our Jewish knowledge and gives us something meaningful to share," she says. "Every event leaves me feeling more connected."
